The Historic Hillsborough Half Marathon and 5K is Sunday, October 7th. This is the Sunday of our Pack 438 Fall Camporee. We need volunteers (adults and scouts) to join us in supporting the race by acting as starting gate attendants and also by passing out medals and trophies at the finish line.

Pack 438 sent several volunteers last year and we had a great time despite the early morning hours. The race participants and the Hillsborough Running Club staff really appreciated our being a part of the event. This is a great way for Pack 438 to give back to our community.
We need volunteers in uniform to meet at the Eno River Farmer's Market on Margaret Lane in downtown Hillsborough at 6:30 am on Sunday, October 7th. This is directly behind the courthouse and Orange County Sheriff's office. The race starts at 7:00 am. The 5 K finishers will start coming in before 7:30. The half marathon finishers will start coming across the finish line sometime around 8:30 am or thereafter.
