Pack 438 will host their annual air rocket night this Monday, August 8th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Gold Park in Hillsborough. Air rocket night is a STEM based activity where kids build their own rockets from paper and other craft materials and get to launch them up to 300-400 feet in the air with our pressurized launch systems. The event will be held rain or shine as we will be under the large shelter with cover to launch the rockets.
Pack 438 is chartered by Hillsborough United Methodist Church and has served the scouting needs of the youth of Hillsborough since 1974. We are an active and vibrant pack and are pleased to welcome all Kindergarten through 5th graders to our program. We meet at Hillsborough United Methodist Church on Monday nights from the end of August through June, plus summer activities.
Pack 438 has been selected as one of the pilot units for the new BSA Lion program so we are actively seeking interested Kindergarteners in addition to 1st-5th graders.
